Will Cuppy died today – 58 years ago

U.S. writer and humorist Will Cuppy was born as William Jacob Cuppy on August 23, 1884 in Auburn, Indiana. He said, “Aristotle was famous for knowing everything. He taught that the brain exists merely to cool the blood and is not involved in the process of thinking. This is true only of certain persons." [Hmmmm!]... Mr. Cuppy died in 1949 in New York City, New York.

English cartoonist David Alexander Cecil Low was born on April 7, 1891 in Dunedin, South Island, New Zealand. He said, “I have learned from experience that, in the bluff and counterbluff of world politics, to draw a hostile war lord as a horrible monster is to play his game. What he doesn't like is being shown as a silly ass." [Hmmmmm! Again.]... Mr. Low died in 1963 in London, England.
