Giambattista Vico died today – 264 years ago

Italian philosopher Giambattista Vico was born on June 23, 1668 in Naples, Italy. He said, “Men first feel necessity, then look for utility, next attend to comfort, still later amuse themselves with pleasure, thence grow dissolute in luxury, and finally go mad and waste their substance." [Not a good prognosis at all.]... Mr. Vico died in 1744 in Naples, Italy.
