U.S. dancer and singer Gene Kelly was born on August 23, 1912 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
He said, “I got started dancing because I knew it was one way to meet girls." [You can move faster when you dance.]... Mr. Kelly died on February 2, 1996 in Beverly Hills, California.
