Writer (think: “Peyton Place” (1956)) Grace Metalious was born as Marie Grace de Repentigny on September 8, 1924 in Manchester, New Hampshire. She said, “If I'm a lousy writer, then an awful lot of people have lousy taste.” [Well, they probably do.]... Ms. Metalious died on February 25, 1964 in Boston, Massachusetts.
