Actor and comedian (think: "Ernest Goes to Camp") James Albert Varney, Jr. was born on June 15, 1949 in Lexington, Kentucky. He said, “I like to sing. I write music. Country songs. Mr. Varney died on February 10, 2000 in White House, Tennessee.
