Actor (in “Blithe Spirit” (1964)), playwright (of “Bitter Sweet” (1929) and “Cavalcade” (1931)), and composer (of “I’ll See You Again”) Noël Peirce Coward was born on December 16, 1899 in Teddington, Middlesex, England. He said, “People are wrong when they say opera is not what it used to be. It is what it used to be. That is what's wrong with it." [Oh, my!]... Mr. Coward died on March 26, 1973 in Blue Harbour, Jamaica.
