Entrepreneur (in cosmetics and her foundation) Helena Rubinstein was born as Chaja Rubinstein on December 25, 1870 (or maybe 1871 or 1872) in Kraków, Austria-Hungary (now Poland). She said, “There are no ugly women, only lazy ones.” [So that explains it.]... Ms. Rubinstein died on April 1, 1965 in New York City, New York.
