Author (of the plays “Peer Gynt” (while on Ischia) and “A Doll’s House”) Henrik Johan Ibsen was born on March 20, 1828 in Skien, Norway. He said, “A community is like a ship; everyone ought to be prepared to take the helm." [I’m ready... and I have some great ideas, too.]... Mr. Ibsen died on May 23, 1906 in Kristiania (Oslo), Norway.
