Singer (of How High The Moon) Ella Jane Fitzgerald was born on April 25, 1917 in Newport News, Virginia. She said, “It isn't where you came from, it's where you're going that counts." [Amen!]... Ms. Fitzgerald died on June 15, 1996 in Beverly Hills, California.
