Author (of The Children’s Hour and The Little Foxes) Lillian Florence Hellman was born on June 20, 1905 in New Orleans, Louisiana. She said, “Cynicism is an unpleasant way of saying the truth." [And as Lily Tomlin said,”No matter how cynical you become, it's never enough to keep up.”]... Ms. Hellman died on June 30, 1984 in Tisbury, Massachusetts.
