Zoologist and TV host (of Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom) Richard Marlin Perkins was born on March 28, 1905 in Carthage, Missouri. He said, “Beware of the wild things.” [Well, he might have said it.]... Mr. Perkins died on June 14, 1986 in Clayton, Missouri.
