Harold Melvin was born on June 25, 1939 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was the lead vocalist in the singing group Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes. The group sang the song If You Don’t Know Me by Now. Mr. Melvin died on March 24, 1997 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
