Fred Hoyle was born on June 24, 1915 in Gilstead, West Yorkshire, England. He rejected the so-called “big bang cosmological theory”. He co-created the Steady State theory of cosmology. Mr. Hoyle died on August 20, 2001 in Bournemouth, England.
