Ted Knight was born on December 7, 1923 as Tadeusz Władysław Konopka in Terryville, Connecticut. He acted as “Ted Baxter" on the TV sitcom The Mary Tyler Moore Show and as "Henry Rush” on the TV sitcom Too Close for Comfort. Mr. Knight died on August 26, 1986 in Glendale, California.
