Ralph Rainger was born on October 7, 1901 as Ralph Reichenthal in New York City, New York. He composed the music to the songs Love in Bloom and Thanks for the Memory. Mr. Rainger died in an airplane crash on October 23, 1942 near Palm Springs, California.
