Roddy McDowall was born on September 17, 1928 as Roderick Andrew Anthony Jude McDowall in Herne Hill, London, England. He acted in the 1968 movie Planet of the Apes, in the 1972 movie The Poseidon Adventure, in the 1987 movie Overboard, and in many more. Mr. McDowall died on October 3, 1998 in Los Angeles, California.
