German philosopher Georg William Friedrich Hegel was born on August 27, 1770 in Stuttgart, Germany. He said, “Governments have never learned anything from history, or acted on principles deducted from it." [They are really just people, after all.]... Mr. Hegel died in 1831 in Berlin, Germany.
