U.S. writer Jack London was born on January 12, 1876 in San Francisco, California. He said, “I would rather be a superb meteor, every atom of me in magnificent glow, than a sleepy and permanent planet." [Talk about burn-out.]... Mr. London died in 1916 in Glen Ellen, California.
