Samuel Beckett died today – 18 years ago

Irish writer Samuel Barclay Beckett was born on April 13, 1906 in Dublin, Ireland. He said, “All I know is what the words know, and dead things, and that makes a handsome little sum, with a beginning and a middle and an end, as in the well-built phrase and the long sonata of the dead." [What!?]... Mr. Beckett died in 1989 in Paris, France.
