U.S. writer Thomas Stearns Eliot was born on September 26, 1888 in St. Louis, Missouri. Don't forget - how could we? - that the Broadway musical "Cats" was inspired by Mr. Eliot's 1939 book "Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats". [I love cats.]...
