Painter (of “Painting (1946)” and many other pieces) Francis Bacon was born on October 28, 1909 in Dublin, Ireland. He said, “Picasso is the reason why I paint. He is the father figure, who gave me the wish to paint.” [Well, you gotta start somewhere.]... Mr. Bacon died on April 28, 1992 in Madrid, Spain.
