Psychologist (creating his “hierarchy of needs”) Abraham Harold Maslow was born on April 1, 1908 in Brooklyn, New York. He said, “Classic economic theory, based as it is on an inadequate theory of human motivation, could be revolutionized by accepting the reality of higher human needs, including the impulse to self actualization and the love for the highest values." [And the only way you’ll get it is with freedom.]... Mr. Maslow died on June 8, 1970 in Menlo Park, California.

Douglas William Jerrold died today – 150 years ago
English writer Douglas William Jerrold was born on January 3, 1803 in London, England. He said, “Dogmatism is puppyism come to its full growth." {1} [Does that mean that catechism is kittenism full grown?]... Mr. Jerrold died in 1857 in London, England.
