Edward Hopper died today – 41 years ago

Painter (of “Automat”, “Chop Suey”, “Nighthawks”, and many more works) Edward Hopper was born on July 22, 1882 in upper Nyack, New York. He said, “I find linseed oil and white lead the most satisfactory mediums." [I like keyboards – musical and computer.]... Mr. Hopper died on May 15, 1967 in New York City, New York.

Edward Hopper, born on July 22, 1882, died on May 15, 1967. He was a realistic painter in the U.S., but not of houses – I don’t think. But I guess he could have been – when he ran out of other things to paint. Anyway, I’ve looked at some of his paintings on line. They don’t seem to be anything I couldn’t do – if I could paint.
