Jacques-Yves Cousteau died today – 11 years ago
Oceanographer Jacques-Yves Cousteau was born on June 11, 1910 in Saint-André-de-Cubzac, Gironde. He said, “I believe that national sovereignties will shrink in the face of universal interdependence." [Think of what you have in common and what you can exchange with others, and then they may become your friends and not your endless enemies.]... Mr. Cousteau died on June 25, 1997 in Paris, France.
