Author (of “Mrs Dalloway” (1925) and “Orlando” (1928)) Virginia Adeline Woolf was born on January 25, 1882 in London, England. She said, “Sleep, that deplorable curtailment of the joy of life." [Sleep is not a waste of time: it is a natural and essential function of a healthy life.]... Ms. Woolf died on March 28, 1941 near Lewes, East Sussex, England.
