English writer and novelist Arthur Annesley Ronald Firbank was born on January 17, 1886 in London, England. According to http://www.born-today.com, Mr. Firbank said, "The world is disgracefully managed, one hardly knows to whom to complain.” Well, I could provide a very, very long list, but it probably wouldn’t do any good... Mr. Firbank died on May 21, 1926 in Rome, Italy. I was in Rome on a Globus tour. Rome has a lot of old ruins... and probably some new ones, too.
