Billie Burke was born as Mary William Ethelbert Appleton Burke on August 7, 1884 in Washington, D.C. She acted as “Glinda the Good Witch of the North” in the movie The Wizard of Oz. Ms. Burke died on May 14, 1970 in Los Angeles, California.
