Charles Lane was born on January 26, 1905 as Charles Gerstle Levison in San Francisco, California. He acted as “Mr. Finch” on the TV sitcom Dennis the Menace and as “Mr. Barnstahl” on the TV sitcom The Lucy Show. Mr. Lane died on July 9, 2007 in Santa Monica, California.
