Wladyslaw Szpilman died 9 years ago

Wladyslaw Szpilman was born on December 5, 1911 in Sosnowiec, Poland. The movie The Pianist was based on his autobiographical book. Mr. Szpilman died on July 6, 2000 in Warsaw, Poland.
