Songwriter and guitarist (on many guitars) Jerome John “Jerry” Garcia was born on August 1, 1942 in San Francisco, California. He said, “Constantly choosing the lesser of two evils is still choosing evil.” [So resist it all.]... Mr. Garcia died on August 9, 1995 in Forest Knolls, California.
