Author (with Simone Beck and Louisette Bertholle, of Mastering the Art of French Cooking) and cook (on the TV show The French Chef) Julia Child was born as Julia Carolyn McWilliams on August 15, 1912 in Pasadena, California. She said, “Life itself is the proper binge.” [So LIVE it!]... Ms. Child died on August 13, 2004 in Santa Barbara, California.
