U.S. golf pro Babe Didrikson Zaharias was born as Mildred Ella Didriksen on June 26, 1914 in Port Arthur, Texas. She said, “That little white ball won't move until you hit it, and there's nothing you can do after it has gone." [I guess you could cry.]... Ms. Zaharias died in 1956 in Galveston, Texas.
