Tycho Brahe died today – 406 years ago

Danish astronomer Tycho Brahe was born on December 14, 1546 in Knutstorp Castle, Denmark. He said, “Now it is quite clear to me that there are no solid spheres in the heavens, and those that have been devised by the authors to save the appearances, exist only in the imagination." [What!?]... Mr. Brahe died in 1601 in Prague.
