Cab Calloway died today – 13 years ago

U.S. bandleader and singer Cabel “Cab” Calloway III was born on December 25, 1907 in Rochester, New York. He said, “A movie and a stage show are two entirely different things. A picture, you can do anything you want. Change it, cut out a scene, put in a scene, take a scene out. They don't do that on stage." [Well, why not?]... Mr. Calloway died in 1994 in Hockessin, Delaware.
