Charles Dickens was born on February 7, 1812 as Charles John Huffam Dickens in Portsmouth, England. He wrote the novels The Adventures of Oliver Twist and David Copperfield. Mr. Dickens died on June 9, 1870 in Gad’s Hill Place, Higham, Kent, England.
