Felix Mendelssohn was born on February 3, 1809 as Jakob Ludwig Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy in Hamburg, Germany. He composed the Wedding March and many, many other works. Mr. Mendelssohn died on November 4, 1847 in Leipzig, Germany.
