Edie Adams was born on April 16, 1927 as Edith Elizabeth Enke in Kingston, Pennsylvania. She had been married to comedic actor Ernie Kovacs. She acted in the 1963 movie Under the Yum Yum Tree. Ms. Adams died on October 15, 2008 in Los Angeles, California.
