Morey Amsterdam was born on December 14, 1908 in Chicago, Illinois. He acted on the TV sitcom The Morey Amsterdam Show and as “Buddy Sorrell” on the TV sitcom The Dick Van Dyke Show. Mr. Amsterdam died on October 27, 1996 in Los Angeles, California.
