John Denver was born on December 31, 1943 as Henry John Deutschendorf, Jr. in Roswell, New Mexico. He sang the songs Take Me Home, Country Roads, Rocky Mountain High, Sunshine on My Shoulders, and Annie’s Song. Mr. Denver died on October 12, 1997 in Pacific Grove, California.
