Elliott Smith was born on August 6, 1969 as Steven Paul Smith in Omaha, Nebraska. He wrote the song Miss Misery, (used in the 1997 movie Good Will Hunting). Mr. Smith died on October 21, 2003 in Los Angeles, California.
