Buddy Holly died 50 years ago

Singer and songwriter (of That’ll Be the Day and Peggy Sue) Buddy Holly was born as Charles Hardin Holley on September 7, 1936 in Lubbock, Texas. Mr. Holly died on February 3, 1959 near Clear Lake, Iowa.
