Eubie Blake was born as James Hubert Blake on February 7, 1887 in Baltimore, Maryland. He was a pianist, a lyricist, and the composer of I’m Just Wild About Harry. Mr. Blake died on February 12, 1983 in Brooklyn, New York City, New York.
