Ritchie Valens died 50 years ago

Singer (of La Bamba) and songwriter Ritchie Valens was born as Richard Steven Valenzuela on May 13, 1941 in Pacoima, California. Mr. Valens died on February 3, 1959 near Clear Lake, Iowa.
