Percy Bysshe Shelley died today – 185 years ago

English writer Percy Bysshe Shelley was born on August 4, 1792 in Horsham, England. He said, “When my cats aren't happy, I'm not happy. Not because I care about their mood but because I know they're just sitting there thinking up ways to get even.” {1} [Yep! Watch out for those cats. They have claws and sometimes they use them!]... Mr. Shelley died in 1822 in Livorno, Italy.

English writer Havelock Ellis was born on February 2, 1859 in Croydon, England. He said, “There is nothing that war has ever achieved that we could not better achieve without it.” {1} [Remember: there are always at least two ways to accomplish something.]... Mr. Ellis died in 1939 in Hintlesham, Suffolk, England.

English actor Michael Wilding was born on July 23, 1912 in Westcliff-on-Sea, Essex, England. He, among others, had at one time been married to U.S. actress Elizabeth Taylor. He said, “You can pick out actors by the glazed look that comes into their eyes when the conversation wanders away from them." {2} [You think they’re somewhat self-absorbed?]... Mr. Wilding died in 1979 in London, England.

Iranian conjoined twins Laden and Laleh Bijani were born on January 27, 1974. They died in 2003 shortly after separation.
