Barbara Jordan died today – 12 years ago

U.S. Representative (TX, 1973-1979) Barbara Charline Jordan was born on February 21, 1936 in Houston, Texas. She said, “But this is the great danger America faces. That we will cease to be one nation and become instead a collection of interest groups: city against suburb, region against region, individual against individual. Each seeking to satisfy private wants." [And so it did.]... Check out Ms. Jordan speaking in 1976... Ms. Jordan died in 1996 in Austin, Texas.
