T.S. Eliot died today – 43 years ago
U.S. writer Thomas Stearns Eliot was born on September 26, 1888 in St. Louis, Missouri. Don't forget - how could we? - that the Broadway musical "Cats" was inspired by Mr. Eliot's 1939 book "Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats". [I love cats.]... He said, “What we call the beginning is often the end. And to make an end is to make a beginning. The end is where we start from." [Kinda like the “circle of life”, which is actually a lot of zig-zaggy lines.]... Mr. Eliot died in 1965 in London, England.
