Writer & general agitator Thomas Paine was born on January 29, 1737 in Thetford, England, Great Britain.
He said, “Any system of religion that has anything in it that shocks the mind of a child, cannot be true.” [I'll bet that agitated a few people.]... Mr. Paine died on June 8, 1809 in New York City, New York.
