Hubert H. Humphrey died today – 30 years ago

U.S. Vice President (38th, 1965-1969) Hubert Horatio Humphrey was born on May 27, 1911 in Wallace, South Dakota. He said, “I have seen in the Halls of Congress more idealism, more humaneness, more compassion, more profiles of courage than in any other institution that I have ever known."
