Arthur Murray was born as Moses Teichman on April 4, 1895 in Galicia, Austria-Hungary (according to Wikipedia) or in New York City, New York (according to IMDb). He started the Arthur Murray Studios and hosted the TV show The Arthur Murray Party. Mr. Murray died on March 3, 1991 in Honolulu, Hawaii.
