Peter Jennings was born on July 29, 1938 as Peter Charles Archibald Ewart Jennings in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He was the anchor of ABC’s World News Tonight. Mr. Jennings died on August 7, 2005 in Manhattan, New York City, New York.
